G-Wagon lease in Los Angeles: the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, quoted per car
A G-Wagon lease is written per car: there is no advertised G-Wagon lease special that we know of this month. Here is how the payment is built, and how we get you one at MSRP or as close as the market allows.

How a G-Wagon lease is priced
The G-Class is allocated to dealers in small numbers, so the price is set by supply, not by a monthly special. Two things decide your payment: whether the dealer adds a market adjustment over MSRP, and the residual the lender sets for the term. In our experience the G-Class residual is strong, which helps the payment; an adjustment, when a dealer insists on one, hurts it more than any incentive can fix. Our job on a G-Class is finding the allocation at MSRP, or as close as the market allows that month, then structuring the lease so the residual works for you.
G 550 or G 63 AMG on a lease
The G 550 is the six-cylinder; the G 63 is the AMG V8. The MSRP gap between them is large, and on a lease it is spread over the term, so the G 63 payment is well above the G 550's on the same structure. AMG versions also tend to carry the larger market adjustments. If the badge matters, the G 63 is the car; if the shape and the presence are what you want, the G 550 leases for a great deal less. Both are quoted per car with the color and options you specify.
Term: more than one term is written on the G-Class; we quote the one that suits when you want the next car.
Mileage: several allowances are written; pick the one that matches your driving and the quote is written for it.
Wait: an in-stock car delivers in days; a specific color and option combination can mean a factory order, and we tell you the real wait before you decide.
Before you lease a G-Class: size, seats and the electric one
The G 63 is 77.4 inches tall, 86.1 inches wide with the mirrors out, and turns in 44.3 feet wall to wall. Measure your garage and the parking structure you use most; some covered lots in Los Angeles are tight for it. It seats five with no third row, with 37.4 cubic feet of cargo behind the rear seat and 68.6 with it folded. The rear door is side-hinged and swings out, so it needs room behind the car. The step-in is high; sit in one first. The V8 runs on premium unleaded.
The G 580 with EQ Technology is the electric G: four motors, 579 hp and 859 lb-ft combined. If that is the one you want, tell us where it will charge, at home or on public networks, and we quote it per car like the others.
The G 63 4x4 Squared and the 6x6: why each is quoted per car
The 4x4 Squared is a G 63 on portal axles: the axle sits above the wheel center and a gear at each hub carries the drive down, so the body rides about four inches higher and ground clearance grows from about nine inches to about fourteen, with wider fenders and taller tires to match. The engine is the G 63's handcrafted V8. Mercedes built it in small numbers alongside the G 63 in Graz, and mbusa.com does not list it for the current model year. There is no lease program for it; when one turns up at a dealer or on the used market, we quote that one car.
The 6x6 is older and rarer: built from 2013 to 2015, a little over a hundred in all, mostly for the Middle East, with six driven wheels on three portal axles, a pickup bed and the 5.5-liter twin-turbo AMG V8 of that era. It was not sold through Mercedes-Benz USA; the few here came in as imports. It is a collector's car, normally bought rather than leased. Send the spec and we look for the car first.
Which G-Wagon colors are easiest to get, and what special paint adds
On a lease the residual is fixed regardless of color, so the color only changes what you pay for the paint and how long you wait. Manufaktur colors, the special-order paints, cost more and add wait time; on a lease you pay for that option over the term and hand the car back. If a specific manufaktur color is the point of the car, tell us and we search for one already built. The G 63 4x4 Squared and the older 6x6 are separate cars built in tiny numbers; if that is what you want, read the guides and then call, because those are not leased off a price sheet.
G 63 colors: stock colors, MANUFAKTUR colors and matte
mbusa.com lists more than three dozen G-Class colors: gloss, matte and solid MANUFAKTUR hues. Dealers stock the standard colors, Obsidian Black Metallic and Polar White above all. MANUFAKTUR colors such as Arabian Grey, and Magno matte finishes such as Night Black Magno, are found car by car or ordered from the factory.
Matte needs a different owner. A Magno finish cannot be polished, so a scratch, a swirl from a brush car wash, or etching from bird droppings and tree sap stays in the paint. Hand wash only, matte-specific products, no wax. On a lease that damage is excess wear at return. Color does not change the number the lender sets; if you may buy the car at the end, black, white and gray are the easiest to sell on.
How a G-Wagon lease through 021 works
Tell us the model, color and options. We ask the Mercedes-Benz dealers in Southern California what they have allocated and what they will sell it for, then write the best whole deal with our fee shown on the written quote. Because several stores answer at once, you see whether the adjustment one store wants is the market or that store. The lease is usually with Mercedes-Benz Financial; delivery is to your door anywhere in California. This is what a car lease broker in Los Angeles does on a G-Class.

Common questions
How much does it cost to lease a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon?
There is no published G-Class special, so the honest answer is per car: a G 550 at MSRP sits well above every published Mercedes-Benz row on our Mercedes-Benz page, and a G 63 above that.
How much does it cost to lease a Mercedes G63?
More than a G 550 by roughly the MSRP gap spread over the term, plus whatever market adjustment the dealer insists on. Our job is removing the adjustment; the rest is the lender's residual and money factor for that month. Quoted per car.
Is the G-Wagon overpriced?
On a lease the question is the market adjustment, not the MSRP. The MSRP is in the trims table above and is the same at every store; an adjustment above it is one store's decision, and several stores quoting at once shows whether it is the market that month. The residual is set as a percentage of MSRP, so a lease written at MSRP uses the whole residual, while money paid over MSRP is not residualized and is paid in full across the term.
Which color G-Wagon is best?
For getting one quickly, a standard color the dealers stock. For a car you hand back at the end of a lease, the color you like, as long as you accept that a special-order paint adds cost and wait. Our G-Wagon colors guide goes through the palette.
Is it cheaper to lease or buy a G-Class?
The G-Class holds its value unusually well, which makes both cheaper than the sticker suggests: leasing benefits from the residual, buying benefits from the resale. If you keep cars for years, buy; if you want the newest one every two or three years, lease.
Can you lease a G-Wagon with $0 down?
On approved credit, yes. Most of the G-Class leases we write carry money down to keep the payment inside the lender's range; we quote both structures.
What kind of car can I lease for $200 a month?
Not a G-Class.
